Toledo, Spain

Visited Toledo, the ancient capital of Spain, situated above the River Tagus. It contains the nation's principal Cathedral as well as some of El Greco's famous views. Echoes of Moorish and Jewish cultures abound. It is also famed for the production of Damascene work, intricate inlaid gold decorating jewellery and craftwork.

An adorable old Senor e sitting in the square watching the world go by.

The narrow streets where the pedestrians and cars compete for room.

One of many elaborate street signs.

Our favourite treats shop!!

My purchases thus far! The bag on the left was handcrafted by a delightful Senor e named Hector.
