We made a visit to
Monaco today, the home and burial place of the beloved Princess of Monaco,
Grace Kelly. It was quite surreal rubbing shoulders with the rich and famous
with their extravagant cars and lifestyles. We were in for an extra treat as we
got to see the preparations taking place for the Formula 1 Grand Prix being
held in a couple of weeks.
We ventured up to the
Royal Palace and the cathedral where Princess Grace and Prince Rainier are
buried. It was a little sad looking over their burial places in the imposing
cathedral. So sad thinking of how those children lost their mum. She may have
been a screen goddess and a Princess but overall she was a mum.
