Now here is a concept that needs to be taken back home, a Champagne Bar in the centre of Westfield. After 'shopping til you drop', pull up a stool and sip a glass of champagne to put the bubbles back in your day!! Then off to the theatre for the night. How wonderful!!!
Uncle Jonathan captivated us in his role of Lionel, in The King's Speech at the elegant Wyndam's Theatre. After the show we headed for post theatre drinks with Jonathan and his charming friends, Tas (Tinkerbell from Peter Pan) and James (Stage Manager), to The Club at The Ivy, a private members' club by invitation only. So much fun being in the company of thespians for the evening. In fine form, Jonathan entertained the waitstaff by requesting, a firemans' pole be installed for a far more interesting mode of delivery to the dining room!!! After a delectable dinner and a fabulous evening we headed off home in one of London's famous black cabs.
