It's not a wonder the film starts flock to Cannes for the Film Festival. What a stunning place located on the French Rivieria. You get a 'pinch me is this real' kind of feeling as you stroll along the promenade taking in all the sights and sounds. I bought yet another delicious tomato, pesto, rocket and mozarello baguette in Cannes. Yum!! I could get used to living in France.

A monument erected to represent peace after the war ended. Interestingly enough if you approach this monument from the other side you get a whole other meaning! Not very well thought out! Or knowing the French, is it?????
